The mission of Art with Heart is to provide accessible art classes, high-quality arts education and public art experiences that inspire creativity, strengthen community connection, and reflect the cultural identity of Bakersfield. Through inclusive programming, like hands-on instruction and community-centered public art; AWH is committed to making the arts visible, affordable, and impactful for all ages.

The vision of Art with Heart is to become a leading community arts provider and advocate for Kern County artists, expanding access to creative education, while transforming public spaces through murals and collaborative art projects that celebrate local creativity and voices.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
